SoulClap formally known as Marvin Rumph, started his music career earlier with the age of 14 years in 1997. He bought his first DJ Set a year later on to improve his DJ and Sampling skills, he also realized at that particular time that he has a ear for sound especially for old dusty records. After several DJ Shows SoulClap decided to get more into making Music instead of DJing. With a low budget Studio Setup and some software tools like Fruity Loops, Propellerheads Reason and Cubase he created his first Instrumentals for local Artists based in Bremen and Hamburg (Germany). A couple years of hard work later he placed a bunch of tracks for the legendary Rap Group Smif-N-Wessun and Philadelpha’s Rap Icon Freeway. Following on, he moved into a more roomier House and build up his own Studio to produce Music as a Professional and it was a happy coincidence that he met the talented young Hip Hop Producer Illa Njo from South Africa. Subsequent to that they decided to work together as a team and sell their Beats Online, they placed major deals with Big Pooh (Little Brother), Ty Nitty (Mobb Deep/Infamous Mobb), King Myers, Pseudo Slang, Dominique Larue, Doap Nixon (Jedi Mind Tricks) and Rampage (Flipmode Squad) since then.
