Fabolous Announces “Summertime Shootout 3” Mixtape

Fabolous is one of the few rappers that have consistently been dropping music for years. Today, he took to Instagram to announce the third installment of his Summertime Shootout series will be dropping. In addition to this, he will also be dropping the first single off of it “Flipmode” featuring Chris Brown and Velous.

For anyone who’s a fan of the Brooklyn rapper, it’s definitely something to look forward to. The single will be dropping this Friday, which makes it close to a year since he released Summertime Shootout 2. His announcement for the project was done relatively discreetly through his Instagram post. While he announced the single’s release, the caption read “cooked up something with @Velous & @ChrisBrownOfficial…. #FLIPMODE Dropping EVERYWHERE on Friday. #SummertimeShootout3OnTheWay”

Thusfar, there isn’t a date or any album art or any other pieces of information pertaining to the mixtape, however, with the single on the way, it’s pretty promising.

Fab’s already established himself as one of the dopest lyricists in the game over the past few years with his slick wordplay and cool delivery. Fab’s been keeping himself busy for the majority of this year with his own singles, guest verses and other endeavors. Only a few days a go, The-Dream dropped the video for “Summer Body” where Fab has a guest verse on the song. Prior to that, he appeared on a slew of features with Moneybagg Yo, Fetty Wap and Don Q. Those features were just in August. Among all that he’s been up to in music, the biggest accomplishment he’s publicly received this year was being handed the key to Brooklyn.

It’s safe to say that Fab has been keeping himself busy throughout 2017. With his new single coming up later this week, it’ll be excited hear what he has in store for his upcoming Summertime Shootout 3. In addition to this project, he also confirmed earlier in the year that his collaboration project with Jadakiss, Freddy Vs. Krueger would be dropping on Halloween. There’s about to be a lot of good music coming from Fab this fall alone.
